SERVICES THAT STAND OUT

Transaction Based Pricing

ITI's traditional business model approach is Transaction Based Pricing (TBP) similar to photo drivers license programs. The first step is to remove the onerous burden of heavy upfront capital required to implement new systems. These types of capital requirements are often difficult to have approved and often delay or discourage installation.

ITI provides a complete turnkey system. All costs are recouped through the per transaction charge over the life of the contract. ITI assumes all costs including, but not limited to, hardware, software, implementation, training, materials (paper, decals, ink) and maintenance. Consequently, a significant additional advantage of TBP is the predictability and certainty of the cost over the life of the contract thereby simplifying the programs budgeting.

TBP also eliminates the DMV's concerns regarding obsolescence and maintenance. If the system is not the best available or stops functioning, then ITI does not receive payment.

Inventory Management

ITI ensures that each State maintains a predetermined color decal throughout the duration of the contract. ITI ships decals on a regular basis to account for production usage and keep the par level accurate. ITI manages inventories of each office through a combination of methods. ITI’s inventory tracking system tracks all shipments out of our central warehouse. The ITI inventory system tracks the production and usage of mailroom via reports from the Intranet and compares them against the distributed supplies. ITI then has field engineers do actual counts on their monthly preventative maintenance call and send the data to the inventory system.

This allows ITI to manage the inventory and analyze it for waste or other discrepancies. The inventory system will analyze past records collected by ITI and continue to analyze future usage to create a good forecasting model for mailroom consumption. It is especially important for ITI to manage the decal inventory for the decals that are being phased out each year to minimize waste and cost. Field engineers will then provide counts of decals to the inventory system. The same data in the inventory system will export data to ITI Intranet so that these reports will always be available to the State. The State will be able to determine decal production, defects, waste, and excess inventory via the Intranet.
